Refund Policy

We want you to feel that your Year Compass was written for you. This page explains how we handle requests for revision, clarification, or refund — without the legalese, without the runaround.
The short version
Reply to your delivery email. Tell us what feels off. We'll work with you — revision, clarification, or refund, depending on what's actually wrong. We don't run a no-questions-asked refund window, because each report takes real engine time and real editor time. But we don't ship readings we wouldn't stand behind either.
Who this applies to
This policy covers Kismets digital reports (the Year Compass and any future Kismets reading product) purchased through kismets.ai or its checkout partner (Lemon Squeezy).
What qualifies for a refund or revision
Refund Engine or delivery error. The report didn't generate, was delivered to the wrong address, was visibly broken, or contained a clear technical fault. Full refund or re-delivery — your choice.
Refund Mismatch with your intake. The report was generated against the wrong birth data (e.g., wrong date or wrong day pillar versus what you submitted). We will re-run the report, and refund if you prefer.
Case by case "It doesn't feel like me." Sometimes a reading lands flat — tone, depth, the angle it took. Reply and tell us what's off. We'll usually offer a revised version with a different angle. If after revision it still doesn't fit, we'll discuss a partial or full refund depending on what happened.
Not refundable Disagreement with the framework. If you don't believe in Bazi, don't accept Jungian archetypes as useful, or expected literal predictions, that's not a refund situation — the report does what the product page describes. We recommend reading the FAQ before purchase.
Not refundable Buyer's remorse after delivery. Because this is a hand-checked digital product that costs real engine and editor time to produce, we don't offer no-questions refunds for "changed my mind" after the report has been delivered and you've had time to read it.
Refund Pre-delivery cancellation. If you paid but haven't yet filled out the intake form (or filled it out within the last 24 hours and we haven't started drafting), we'll cancel and refund on request.
How to request
- Reply directly to your delivery email (or order confirmation if you haven't received the report yet).
- Tell us what's off. Be specific — "the timing reflection doesn't match my chart" is more actionable than "didn't like it".
- We respond within 48 hours, usually faster.
- If a refund is approved, it's processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). Funds typically return to your card within 5–10 business days.
What we won't do
- Ask you to fill out a long form to receive a refund.
- Argue with you about whether your reading is "accurate" in a metaphysical sense — that's not the point of a reflective tool.
- Issue refunds for charges processed more than 90 days ago (technical limit on the payment processor side).
Chargebacks
Please talk to us before opening a chargeback with your card provider. We will almost always reach a fair resolution by email faster than a chargeback dispute, and chargebacks cost both sides time and fees that no one benefits from.
